Sometimes, progress is choppy, but usually only at the start. Once you get going, there is something magical. It seems that you reach that state where things just flow like water down a stream.
This might mean that getting more done is to persist with what you started, and push through the apparent barrier. If you are one of the lucky many, you know this is possible, as you learnt how to walk, speak, write etc., tasks that are so easy now, but where the start was very hard.
It also goes that the faster you want something to flow, the more energy you must invest at the beginning. That is why the start, despite its choppiness, is critical.
