You start out your new project with high ambitions. You have the vision of the impact that this project will have. You map out how you will get the work done, whether alone or with a team, and hit start.
As with any project of significance, there will be challenges. You will need to rethink how some things are done, incorporate the changes, and, in some cases, have to terminate the project prematurely.
Whether terminating the project, or making changes to it, there are lessons to be learnt. And, taking the time to reflect on the lessons may be one of the best things you can do for yourself, and for the people you serve with your project.
